A work colleague told me about a friend of hers, who is a contemporary artist and artisan, who made complements for women, men and the home with recycled CD material. Using a little imagination she tries to transform existing products that are not used in new products adapted to the current trends of design and fashion with her touch, making a difference.
I found that very interesting, so I wanted to know more about her, we got in touch and I asked about if she had a logo or identity to promote her art in the social networks, labels, boxes… and she hadn’t! So I proposed her that I would design her logo for free because I knew that normally, this kind of artists can’t afford the current prices of this kind of works. So I started sketching and I figured out very fast something to represent her, a spark representing the brightness of the CD’s and handmade calligraphy letters for her name, all together was the perfect combination for her. After that, I’ve designed a pattern which she could use to gift wraps, packagings and other things. I designed as well business cards, stationery and banners for future applications.
